The twin room I had booked was so small 2 people could barely turn around in it. There was no kettle for tea or coffee and the heat did not work. After unpacking and finding the heat didn't work we were given another room.
Staff were friendly
I was very disappointed for a 3 star hotel, out room was very old, walk in the door and there is a wall in front of you to walk around. the Bed curtins were old and outdated. Bathroom sink was not in the bathroom but in the hall. ODD!!! plus in the morning the the housekeeping closets were outside our door so we were awake when they came on duty. Breakfast was lovely, so were the staff. HOtel just needs updating badly. We could have stayed in the Days hotel behing it for a €10 extra.
I loved it 's proximity 2 everything.. We went for the Thin Lizzy show & love d the fact that the theatre & hotel were attached & we didn't have 2 walk 2 the gig.. Great entertainment in the hotel too... Food was excellent in the hotel also..
The only thing was the bed..We booked a double room but thought the bed a bit small for a double.. Otherwise everything was fine..
Convenient as right next to the theatre
The room was too small, there was no bath, room was above the bar and there was music playing till very early in the morning. Soundproofing in the room was terrible. €89 is very expensive for the type of room we were in.
This hotel was very convenient to the town, from moment we arrived car was parked and only moved day we left, walked to town centre in 5 minutes also hospital is right across road should you like to be close to relative . Full Irish Breakfast excellent also, staff very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in hotel day we arrived, very reasonable Intend to book again this summer.
The Sunday lunch was very good. Not great presentation but the taste was great and reasonably priced. The hotel staff were very accommodating and ensured our room was ready early at our request.
The hotel room was very old fashioned, old blankets on two single beds joined. A tiny ensuite with the sink outside the ensuite in the bedroom. No tea/coffee. The room was just old and tired looking. TV channels not tuned in. Very basis accommodation.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served late on Saturday morning. The room was very comfortable.
Should be signposted from approach roads.
Was at concert in the TF Theatre so hotel was perfect location. The room was comfortable but most importantly very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful in all areas. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.
Had carvery lunch which was just luke warm. Bathrooms in the rooms are a bit small.
Excellent hotel, staff very freindly and helpful, room spacious and clean, free wifi, very good location for town. All round excellent hotel and value for money.
close proximity to the events centre and we were hungry after driving 4 hours to get there so we had dinner and the carvery meal was lovely , warm and tasty and the lady chef was so nice and couldnt do enough to help.
the hotel was a disaster. the rooms are old and smell of stale cigarettes. the whole thing needs to be knocked to the ground and rebuilt so that some fresh air can circulate. we sat in the foyer after show for a quiet drink and each time someone went to the loo down a bit from us the smell of harpic and air freshner would almost knock you out. The noise from the disco was so loud even our two teenage boys were giving out about not being able to sleep. the bed my husband and i shared was a large single which was meant to be a double. if you twisted you were in danger of falling off., you couldnt pass each othe rit was so small . one person would have to stand back to let the other into the bathroom which had 2 hand towels, one bath towel
The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is ideal for touring and there was plenty of parking outside the hotel.
I would have preferred if the restaurant was more open to the outside, there was no natural light which made it a bit claustraphobic
Value for money, nothing flashy but tidy and clean so would stay again.
Twin room very small and some noise at night due to entertainment downstairs going on until very late. Quality of breakfast not that good.
All meals were excellent especially the carvery The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and no noise As i had no car it was close to the bus stop and all the major shops I found the local people friendly. Nice to know that some things have not changed.
I thought the location was perfect for the event centre where I went to see a concert. I felt the staff were very welcoming and pleasant to deal with.
I am afraid the room was tiny but clean. The facilities offered in it were quite good but it was over the bar and the music was blaring on into the morning. The beds were as hard as a rock but I suppose for what I was paying that was as good as I can expect
the restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful esp bearing in mind there was a large group of us well done to them.
I would recommend that reception staff deal with the customer and not to take phone calls while attending to the checking in customer
